The contemporary
Jahmiyyah who refuse to acknowledge explicitly that there is Lord that exists outside of the mind, and outside of the created universe, and who has a true and real existence signified by an essence (dhaat) that is outside of the created universe,
and above it by textual ruling of the Book and the Sunnah and unanimous consensus of the entirety of the Salaf have attempted to attack the personality of Shaykh ul-Islaam
Ibn Taymiyyah through some alleged words of
Imaam adh-Dhahabi.
In this series, we will address these doubts, and show the bankruptcy that is with the contemporary Ash'aris in their bid to argue for the deen of the Jahmites that the Lord Most High is neither within the universe, nor outside of it, nor touching the universe, nor separate from it - and so on - with words that signify non-existence. And as they know for sure, that their creed cannot be sustained on its own merits - as has been acknowledge by Abu Hamid al-Ghazali (d. 505H) and Fakhr ud-Din ar-Razi (d. 606H) - then the path to spreading their creed is by picking out the notable personalities from Ahl us-Sunnah and then accusing them of every vile and repugnant thing as a means of making people flee from the truth - all because their falsehood cannot stand on its own merits, and by their own acknowledgment, not even one in a thousand people would accept it, if they called to it using their language of Metaphysics they took from the Greek Philosophers.
