Then we give glad tidings to all Hulooli and Mu'attil Jahmites, Aristotelian Metaphysicists, Kalam Atomists and all the deniers of there being a Lord above the Heaven and a Deity above the Throne of the following:

Know, O Jahmites, that Allaah the Most High said:

So if they believe in the like of that which you believe, then they are rightly guided, but if they turn away, then they are only in opposition. So Allaah will suffice you against them. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. (Al-Baqarah 2:137)

And this verse is specific in its reason for revelation but general and applicable in all times in its meaning.

So bear witness that we have believed as the Prophet and the Companions have believed - and they are the ones referred to in the verse, since the verb "aamantum" is addressed to them, - that Allaah Himself is above the heaven, above His Throne, and we do bear witness that what you believe, that Allaah is neither within the universe nor outside of it, nor above it, nor below it is a belief based upon what you have inherited from the Metaphysics of the pagan Greek Philosophers and the pagan pseudo-Sabean Harranians, and it is not what the Prophet or the Companions believed or expressed, ever.

And we have nothing but the Book, the Sunnah, the Companions and the entirety of the Salaf, and you will see what they have said, and then it will become known whether the Prophet and his Companions ever spoke with the necessities of that Greek Metaphysics, (astronomy), and philosophy which corrupted the deen of the Sabeans and turned them into star-worshippers - that same Greek Metaphysics upon the basis of which Jahm bin Safwaan denied there is a Lord above the heaven and ended upon worshipping non-existence, and of whose ta'teel all factions have their share (the Mu'tazilah, Kullaabiyyah, Ash'ariyyah, Maturidiyyah).

And you should also know that Allaah will certainly suffice the followers of His Book and of His Prophet and of His Companions against you:

• The followers and tail-ends of the Philosophers - you used their Metaphysics for your futile corrupt proof of demonstrating the universe is created, when it actually proves that Allaah is created,
• The followers of the philosophies of the Greeks and Hindus - you took their Atomism and incorporated it into your "hudooth ul-ajsaam", and
• The inheritors of creedal aspects of the Magians and Pagans and the misguided from the Jews and Christians and Sabeans - you took from al-Ja'd bin Dirham what he acquired from the likes of these people of speaking about Allaah with "sifaat salbiyyah" that Allaah is not this, and not that, and not this, and not that, and not this and not that ...

So how can all of these whom you have followed in truth in your speech about Allaah be more knowledgeable of Allaah than the Inheritors of the Prophets, and the people of the Qur'aan and Emaan?
